ETM 5411 - Engineering Economics (SP19)

One (1) credit hour. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the MSETM program or consent of instructor. Quantitative evaluation of investment alternatives. Basis for comparison of alternatives, including present worth, annual worth, rate of return and payout period methods. Decision-making among capital constrained and unequal-life projects. Benefit-cost and cost effectiveness analysis.

This course is a one-credit hour course offered in the last 5 weeks of the semester and counts as an elective in the MSETM program.  The MSETM curriculum requires 3 credit hours of one-credit-hour electives.
